It started in Ukraine. In Kyiv, the heart of my homeland, there was a small girl who was always curious and was going into art, even though she failed a lot through her journey. At that time, I was overwhelmed by not growing further in my career as a young entrepreneur and unable to help somehow transform the family business. It is how I moved to Canada at 22 years old in 2019. I believed I could make a difference with more excellent knowledge and preparation. Things did not go as expected. I worked in an engineering company as a marketer lead and then manager for two years, in educational companies as per contracts, and finally, in a small marketing agency for eight months. But, I’ve always dreamt of expanding my family business and creating my well-curated home products & decor brand.

At the time, my life felt like a failure - a former high achiever in digital marketing, a dedicated, hard-working girl with big dreams who fell off the wagon somewhere on the other corner of the Earth. Since 2022, the war in Ukraine has made the situation not better. I knew I wanted the freedom to create my hours, spend time outside, impact the world positively, and help a family business grow outside of Ukraine in the foreseeable future.

In 2024, I changed my perspective. Now, I am looking for customers/clients to make a living and switching to the things I enjoy the most. By making small but significant steps, I will be able to make a difference for myself and my family.
